How does the process work?
First, we’ll have a conversation about your requirements, whether it’s over the phone, in person, or via email. From there, we’ll put together a quotation that covers staffing, equipment, and food costs. We’ll agree on a deposit and outline the terms and conditions. Next, we’ll invite you to our restaurant, PLATFORM, located in West Bay, Dorset, where you can enjoy a comprehensive tasting and planning session.
Does the location of our event matter?
We’re open to catering at any location for your wedding. However, please keep in mind that if your venue is quite distant, we may not conduct a site visit. In such cases, we’ll coordinate with the venue through email and phone communication.
What is included with your wedding catering?
We’ll take care of the food and staffing throughout your wedding reception, wedding breakfast, and any evening food if that’s part of our service. After dinner, we’ll clear the tables and ensure everything is clean and tidy before we leave. We also recommend hiring a local cleaning company for any post-wedding cleanup, so family members can enjoy a well-deserved lie-in the following morning.
Do you have a brochure, and what type of food do you offer?
Our new brochure is in the works and will be available by Spring 2026. In the meantime, we’re excited to work with you to create a customized menu that suits your taste. Our offerings include plated dinners, canapés, BBQ buffets, or sharing barbecue feasts served at the tables. Additionally, we provide a walking service, which includes food served in bowls, evening snacks, and more.
